This is a very compact and light weight hand-bearing compass for boats/trekking/orienteering etc. It can be kept in a pocket or hung around your neck on its lanyard. It is made by Yachting Electrical Services of Reading, and the sides are fully enclosed in soft rubber so it will survive being dropped! At £15 it is much cheaper than the Plastimo Iris 50.
